Kent Manufacturing Company’s new Class 8 Clean Room brings an added level of utility and excellence to our processing of materials for medical disposable, medical device, aerospace and electronics applications. The approx. 1,000 square foot room will be equipped with laminating, slitting and die cutting equipment which will provide us with the capability and flexibility to efficiently meet volume requirements for a range of applications. We utilize an additional 500 square foot temperature controlled "white" area to provide a room for gowning and secondary operations including assembly.

The Kent Manufacturing clean room is isolated from the adjacent production facility by air-lock doors and a positive pressure system that is designed to prevent entry of airborne particulates as raw material is brought in. The environment is then monitored for temperature, pressure, humidity and any signs of airborne contamination by our trained employees. The system’s HEPA filters generate a steady cascade of clean air over work surfaces to further minimize airborne particulate. The room is monitored with a particle counter that can measure as low as .3 microns to verify the particulate is kept below the 3.5 million per cubic meter standard.
